College of Idaho, a private liberal arts college with about 13,000 alumni, was struggling with low alumni engagement, scattered/outdated data, costly multiple tools, and heavy IT dependency for event planning. To drive participation for Homecoming & Family Weekend 2018 and centralize alumni relations, the college deployed Almabase’s alumni networking and events platform (integrated with Raiser’s Edge) to create a single, customizable hub for outreach, registration, and communications.
Almabase provided a centralized alumni network with a dedicated events page, flexible ticketing and discounts, Raiser’s Edge integration, and dozens of custom content pages. The solution doubled Homecoming participation (from ~500+ to 900+ attendees), produced 1,800+ registrations, generated roughly $25,000 in ticket revenue, enabled 87 events, and made 12,704 alumni contactable (≈97%), streamlining operations and reducing tool costs for the College of Idaho.
