How Archbishop McCarthy Alumni Association successfully overcame Low Alumni Participation by organizing 10-Year Reunions

Archbishop McCarthy Alumni Association, the alumni arm of Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School, was struggling with low alumni participation, outdated contact data, and a two-person team trying to manage 10‑year reunions and year-round engagement. To address these issues they partnered with Almabase and adopted its digital alumni management platform to centralize data and event coordination.

Using Almabase, the association built an online alumni community, created dedicated event pages (handling RSVPs, payments and email communication), and enabled social sharing and galleries to drive buzz. The result: a centralized system with 6,112 records (1,896 accounts), 5,979 contactable alumni (98% contactable), 59,089 emails sent, and three 10‑year reunions since 2016 each drawing 80+ attendees—streamlining operations and substantially boosting participation through Almabase.
