Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), a leading shipyard in India operating under the Ministry of Defense, needed a more efficient nesting solution that could integrate with its Tribon design environment. The company was looking for a way to better manage production planning while saving both material and time. Alma CAM’s act/cut was selected to address this need.

Alma CAM implemented a custom interface that automatically imports Tribon-generated files into DPR files and creates manufacturing orders for the imported parts. The solution also generates part lists and offcuts lists for export to the ERP application, helping Goa Shipyard Limited streamline its workflow and achieve significant material and time savings.
