SNA Consulting Engineers, a Bloemfontein-based civil engineering firm, faced the challenge of designing N-road route upgrades that would improve community safety while working within strict municipal, provincial, and national regulations. On the Thaba-Nchu Community Development Project, they also had to support safe pedestrian crossings for residents and school children, while coordinating with Public Liaison Committees and local labour requirements.

Using AllyCAD and Civil Designer across all branches, SNA Consulting Engineers implemented a practical design workflow that helped them deliver the project successfully. AllyCAD’s software and support services gave the team the tools and backing they needed to manage complex project constraints, and the project helped enable safer crossings, community development, and local job creation through SMME/BE subcontractor participation.
