SAA Technical needed a precise way to create and manage aircraft livery and interior decal designs for South African Airways’ rebranding and fleet updates. Using AllyCAD, the industrial-strength CAD software from AllyCAD, Senior Project Analyst Johannes Pretorius translated concepts into accurate 2D drawings and scaled templates for aircraft paint schemes.
AllyCAD enabled SAA Technical to produce detailed “pounce” masks and decals for full-size aircraft liveries, helping the team work to hundredths of an inch and keep branding consistent across the fleet. The result was faster, highly accurate design-to-production workflows that supported major rebranding projects, including the Rugby World Cup aircraft design and the new SAA fleet livery.
