JDS Planning and Design - Customer Case Study

JDS Planning and Design, an East London engineering and infrastructure consultancy, took on the challenging Bardale low-cost housing project near Mfuleni in the Western Cape, involving the phased design of 4,000 erven. The project faced delays, informal dwellings on the site, and town planning complications, making urban infrastructure and township design especially demanding.

To handle the work, JDS Planning and Design relied on AllyCAD and Civil Designer software to support roads, sewer, stormwater, and water design. With AllyCAD’s tools and support, the project was successfully completed, helping JDS manage a large-scale development under difficult conditions and strengthening its focus on township and housing infrastructure.
