Industrial Logistic Systems - Customer Case Study

Industrial Logistic Systems (ILS), a Cape Town-based logistics and materials handling consultancy, needed a fast, flexible way to design and manage complex warehouse and distribution projects across South Africa and internationally. Using AllyCAD, ILS worked on the move with clients on major planning assignments, including large distribution-centre consolidations and redesigns, where layouts had to be developed quickly as project requirements changed.

AllyCAD was used by Industrial Logistic Systems to build operation blueprints, test flows for bottlenecks, simulate space requirements, and support full facility and supply-chain design. The result was faster turnaround and more effective project delivery on high-pressure jobs such as DISTELL’s 39-DC integration and Shoprite’s new distribution centre, where AllyCAD helped ILS design one of the largest DCs in the Southern Hemisphere with more than 150,000 m2 of infrastructure and first-phase commissioning of 75,000 m2.
