Oklahoma University’s Athletic Information Systems Chooses Asset Navigator

The University of Oklahoma’s Athletic Information Systems team needed a better way to manage its large IT environment, which supported about 500 computers, 13 servers, and more than 1,000 athletics-related users. After finding that its existing Track-It database was not populating properly, the department turned to Alloy Software and its Asset Navigator Enterprise Business Pack to improve asset management, inventory tracking, and help desk operations.

Alloy Software implemented Asset Navigator Enterprise Business Pack with audit and technician licenses, and the system was up and running in a single day. The university reported major benefits, including automated PC audits, software license compliance, faster hardware and software troubleshooting, reduced help desk call times, and lower overall technology costs. The BIOS and lease data visibility also saved time and money by eliminating manual lease checks and paperwork lookups.
