How the Baltimore Ravens Automated Custom Products

The Baltimore Ravens, a professional NFL team, needed to scale the review and fulfillment of custom fan cutout orders during the COVID-19 season. Because each order had to be manually reviewed in Airtable, rejected orders required customer emails and Shopify discount codes, and approved orders had to be sent to production, the process was too time-consuming for the volume they were receiving. Alloy Automation helped address this challenge by connecting their key systems and automating much of the workflow.

Alloy Automation built automated workflows across Airtable, Shopify, and Twitter to handle order confirmations, rejection notices with custom discount codes, approved-order routing to the printer, and branded customer communications. As a result, the Ravens saved 50 hours per week and were able to process more than 27,000 transactions with far less manual effort.
