How Christina Greene Automated Product Tagging to Streamline Site Merchandising

Christina Greene, a Houston-based luxury jewelry, clothing, and accessories brand, needed a better way to manage ecommerce merchandising with a small team stretched across wholesale, tradeshow, and product development work. Using Shopify, they relied on manual tagging to keep new products and best sellers highlighted across the site, but updating hundreds of items by hand was becoming unsustainable.

Alloy Automation stepped in to automate product tagging and VIP customer rewards in Shopify, setting up workflows to tag new arrivals for 60 days, refresh best-seller tags weekly, and send $20 gift cards to high-value customers after purchase. The result was more than 1,000 workflow runs and about 5 hours saved per week, freeing up roughly a day of work each week and helping improve site merchandising and conversion.
