Swiftel Networks, a wholesale provider serving carriers, ISPs, virtual operators, SMBs and enterprises, wanted to expand its cloud-based CSP and ISP offering with value-added services. However, massive DDoS attacks, including UDP floods and amplified reflection attacks, disrupted operations, damaged reputation and SLAs, and threatened its plans to grow revenue and improve service quality.

Allot implemented its DDoS Secure solution on the existing Allot Service Gateway to protect Swiftel Networks’ network and enable security-as-a-service for downstream customers. The result was stronger DDoS mitigation, full visibility into attacks, improved service availability and QoE, and new revenue opportunities from offering Allot-powered protection to CSP and ISP customers.
