Protecting the Customer Experience with Enhanced Security

Bristol Virginia Utilities (BVU), a municipal utility and internet service provider in Virginia, faced a sharp rise in DDoS attacks that was hurting customer experience and subscriber satisfaction. To address the issue, BVU turned to Allot and its DDoS Secure solution, integrated with the Allot Service Gateway, to protect its network while preserving QoE.

Allot implemented DDoS Secure on BVU’s network for real-time detection and in-band mitigation of attacks, including zero-day and volumetric floods, without adding performance degradation.
