Vendor Allot provided application control and traffic management capabilities, including Allot Service Gateway, SMP, and WebSafe.

Allot implemented a solution centered on an Allot Service Gateway behind the firewall, integrated with Allot Subscriber Management Platform and Active Directory to enforce per-user and per-department policy control. The council also used Allot WebSafe for URL filtering and prioritized latency-sensitive services like VoIP and video while limiting bandwidth and restricting non-business browsing.
