Just Four Months to go-live with HealthRoster After Taking the Decision to Change e-Rostering Software
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, a 4,000-staff district hospital with specialist burns, plastics, rehabilitation and spinal services, needed to replace its existing e-rostering software and improve rostering reporting, safe staffing, and operational efficiency. Working with Allocate Software, the Trust set an ambitious four-month timeline to move to a new system without reverting to paper processes.
Allocate Software implemented HealthRoster across all wards and fully integrated it with payroll for permanent and bank staff by 31 March 2014. The new system was reported to be easier for ward managers to use, provided clearer scheduling and stronger reporting to reduce unnecessary bank or agency use, and supported national staffing reporting requirements such as Unify; Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust also described Allocate’s support as “gold standard.”
