Y-Tec Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Customer Case Study

Y-Tec Vietnam Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yamashita Rubber Co., Ltd., needed a secure, high-performing, and reliable network for its new R&D center in Haiphong City, Vietnam. With confidential data to protect, a need for high availability, support in Vietnam, and a limited budget, the company selected Allied Telesis for a solution built around x610, x510, x210, and GS950 Series switches.

Allied Telesis implemented a network using VCStack LD for a resilient distributed core and EPSRing for fast, company-wide connectivity, while also supporting IP security cameras and wireless access points. The result was a secure, highly reliable, and scalable network with no single point of failure, lower cabling costs, and fast failover recovery of as little as 50 ms, and Y-Tec Vietnam has since operated the network smoothly while planning future 10Gigabit expansion with Allied Telesis.
