The TDK Corporation - Customer Case Study

The TDK corporation, a major electronics manufacturer, needed a highly reliable video surveillance network for its Thailand plant in Ayutthaya to protect a new high-voltage ceramic capacitor production line. Working with Allied Telesis, TDK sought a solution that could monitor both the manufacturing process and the premises while improving security for employees, assets, and intellectual property.

Allied Telesis implemented a new surveillance network using AT-FS970M switches with PoE+ to connect more than 50 security cameras, along with camera management and video storage systems. The result was clear, real-time monitoring, easier investigation of incidents, and a safer work environment; TDK also reported that the system was effective enough to spot snakes on the premises, leading to extermination.
