A Allied Telesis Case Study
The Gifu Prefectural Board of Education in Japan needed to refresh its aging inter-school network, which connected 87 education locations across the prefecture. The old environment had security concerns, limited monitoring, and slow fault resolution, so the board turned to Allied Telesis for a modern wired and wireless network with centralized management and ongoing support.
Allied Telesis delivered a new network using x930, x510, and x210 switches, TQ4400 and TQ3400 wireless APs, and management through AMF, AWC, Vista Manager EX, and Net.Monitor. The result was a secure, stable, and centrally managed network with automated recovery, improved wireless access, and 24/7 remote monitoring, while the rollout was completed with only a half-day total network shutdown at each school.
