Case Study: Dunham-Bush achieves a highly available, scalable network with Allied Telesis

A Allied Telesis Case Study

Preview of the Dunham-Bush Case Study

Technology Pioneer Deploys Scalable, Manageable New Network Solution

Dunham-Bush, a Malaysia-based pioneer in rotary screw compressor technology, needed a highly available, scalable network to support mission-critical applications, IP telephony, and future growth. Its legacy network was costly to maintain and lacked the resilience required for a business where any outage could have a major impact, so the company turned to Allied Telesis for a complete upgrade.

Allied Telesis implemented a network built around AT-x600-24Ts/XP Layer 3 core switches and AT-8000S PoE access switches, using VCStack, link aggregation, QoS, and voice VLAN features to improve resiliency, simplify management, and support voice and data traffic. The new design delivered high availability, stronger security, easier administration, and up to 160 Gbps of uplink bandwidth, while also reducing integration and operating costs and enabling smooth deployment across Dunham-Bush’s offices and factory.
