A Allied Telesis Case Study

Preview of the Nutz GmbH Case Study

Technology Partner Draws on Years of Customer Experience to Rebuild Own Network

Nutz GmbH, a German building and construction company with operations across Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland, wanted to modernize its own network as it moved from passive networking to active technology. Working with Allied Telesis, the company needed a secure, high-availability, high-performance network that could be upgraded during normal business operations without downtime, while also supporting office systems and building management.

Allied Telesis delivered a converged network built around x550 Series stackable 10 Gigabit switches at the core, with XS916MX, x230, GS900 and GS970M Series switches providing access across the site. The VCStack-based design created a resilient, easy-to-manage network with no single point of failure, supporting IP telephony, video conferencing, ERP, cloud storage, access control and surveillance. The result was a reliable showcase network that improved operations and lets Nutz demonstrate its capabilities to customers.
