Steaua Stadium modernizes its 31,254-seat network with Allied Telesis

Steaua Stadium, a major football stadium and multifunctional complex in Bucharest, required a next-generation network infrastructure to converge its many online systems, including security, ticketing, and communications, into a single cohesive solution. The challenge was to build a robust, high-performance, and secure network from the ground up to handle extreme data traffic and provide always-on Wi-Fi for thousands of simultaneous users. HELINICK, managing the project, selected Allied Telesis for its high-performance xSeries switches and TQ5403 access points due to a history of successful collaboration and a high performance-to-cost ratio.

The Allied Telesis solution implemented high-performing switches and access points managed by Autonomous Wave Control for automated Wi-Fi optimization. This was paired with Vista Manager EX for proactive network management and Active Fiber Monitoring for non-stop security. The results included a seamless user experience for visitors, simplified administration that reduced ongoing IT costs, and a secure, future-proof network. Allied Telesis technology provided the state-of-the-art infrastructure required to support the smooth operation of the world-class stadium.
