Seamless Connectivity at World-Class Convention Center

Calvary Church, through its Calvary Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, needed a future-proof, robust, scalable, and easy-to-manage network for a large 6-storey venue that would support converged services such as IP cameras, IP telephones, IPTV, card access, the PA system, and high-capacity wireless for hundreds of users. Allied Telesis was selected to design and deliver the network infrastructure for the centre.

Allied Telesis implemented a resilient network built around two SwitchBlade x908 modular switches in VCStack as the core, x610 Series Layer 3 switches in the distribution layer, and AT-8000GS switches at the edge, plus Channel Blanket wireless technology. The result was an always-on, high-performance network with no single point of failure that now supports the centre’s many digital services reliably, with staff trained to manage it and ongoing support available from Allied Telesis.
