Roveco modernizes networking with Allied Telesis to reduce large-file save times across 10 GbE workstations

Roveco S.r.l., an Italian leader in flexographic prepress for the packaging industry, needed to modernize its outdated network infrastructure. The company required a high-availability architecture to guarantee business continuity and ensure high performance for its bandwidth-intensive graphic workstations. To meet these challenges, Roveco partnered with vendor Allied Telesis for a complete network upgrade.

Allied Telesis implemented a resilient, fiber optic network built on its xSeries switches, including x950 units at the core and x550 switches dedicated to the graphic workstations. The solution was managed with Allied Telesis's AMF Plus to simplify administration. The results included secure, reliable connections for all users and a measurable improvement in efficiency, with graphic workstations experiencing reduced times for saving large files.
