Naruto University Students Seamlessly Access Campus from Connected Schools

Naruto University of Education in Japan needed to modernize aging school networks across its campus and affiliated schools, while adding reliable wireless access, stronger security, and centralized management for students and staff. The university selected Allied Telesis to help streamline its ICT infrastructure and support secure access from connected schools using products and services including AMF, AWC, and wireless LAN access points.

Allied Telesis implemented x930 core switches, x510 distribution/edge switches, TQ4600 wireless access points, and centralized management with AMF, AWC, and Vista Manager EX. The new network delivers seamless, secure, high-performing wireless access, centralized control of wired and wireless devices, and fast recovery with high availability, while also preparing the university for future upgrades such as SES and cloud adoption.
