Naka City secures 39 locations in 2 weeks with Allied Telesis

Naka City, a municipality in Japan, needed to upgrade its outdated public network to protect sensitive citizen data following new government security guidelines. Their challenge was to find a robust security solution from a vendor that could proactively detect and block threats while remaining easy to use and economical to operate. They selected a solution from Allied Telesis that included their Secure Enterprise SDN (SES) and Autonomous Management Framework (AMF) products.

The solution implemented by Allied Telesis used AMF for centralized, remote management and SES integrated with Trend Micro Deep Discovery Inspector for behavioral threat detection and automatic isolation of compromised devices. As a result, Naka City achieved a highly secure network that is much simpler to manage, greatly reducing administrative man-hours and expenditure.
