Case Study: Leeds United Football Club achieves zero-downtime stadium security with Allied Telesis

A Allied Telesis Case Study

Preview of the Leeds United Football Club Case Study

Leeds United Football Club scores a winner with Allied Telesis for new stadium network

Leeds United Football Club needed a highly resilient, low-maintenance network to support mission-critical operations across Elland Road Stadium and its training ground, including ticketing, hospitality, back-office systems, and extensive CCTV security. Allied Telesis, working with NETprotocol, provided the networking foundation for these demands, including high-capacity switching and centralized network management.

Allied Telesis implemented a fault-tolerant core built on diversely routed fibre links, Allied Telesis switches, Vista Manager EX, and the Autonomous Management Framework (AMF) to automate administration and simplify oversight. The result has been more than a decade of continuous, hitless network operation with no downtime, improved scalability for stadium growth and Premier League requirements, and efficient management for Leeds United’s small IT team.
