Case Study: Kliniken Südostbayern AG improves hospital network reliability with Allied Telesis AMF

A Allied Telesis Case Study

Preview of the Kliniken Südostbayern AG Case Study

Kliniken Südostbayern in Germany, chooses Allied Telesis Autonomous Management Framework for simplified network administration

Kliniken Südostbayern AG, which operates six hospitals in Bavaria, needed to modernize its aging hospital network to support always-on access to critical systems while reducing downtime and administration overhead. The company worked with Allied Telesis and its partner inducio GmbH to evaluate a more reliable and easier-to-manage networking platform, centered on Allied Telesis Autonomous Management Framework (AMF).

Allied Telesis implemented a converged hospital network using SwitchBlade x908 GEN2 core chassis switches and AMF for centralized management, automated backup, recovery, provisioning, and firmware upgrades. The result was a stable, highly reliable network that is much easier to manage, with reduced man-hours and operating costs, stronger resilience through zero-touch recovery and no single point of failure, and more time for IT staff to focus on value-added projects.
