A Allied Telesis Case Study
Japan Tennis Association worked with Allied Telesis to modernize communications for the 43rd National High School Invitational Tennis Championships in Japan. The association needed to replace manual, whiteboard-based score and match updates with a faster, more reliable digital network that could support real-time information sharing across a large outdoor sporting event.
Allied Telesis designed and deployed a wireless and wired LAN environment using its AWC autonomous wireless LAN solution, AWC-Smart Connect, Vista Manager Network Appliance, AR-series routers, x230 switches, and TQ5403/TQ5403e access points. The result was a stable, easy-to-use network that expanded Wi-Fi coverage without expensive cabling, supported online coach meetings and app-based communication, and improved event operations by enabling timely match updates and efficient court use.
