Japan Association for Medical Informatics runs a 5-day hybrid conference with Allied Telesis

The Japan Association for Medical Informatics (JAMI) required a complex network to support its first hybrid conference, which needed to provide robust onsite Wi-Fi for attendees and reliable live streaming for remote guests. Allied Telesis was engaged to design and implement this large venue network solution, which included their Autonomous Wave Control technology for the wireless system.

Allied Telesis installed a network with 35 switches, four firewalls, and 46 wireless access points. Their Autonomous Wave Control technology automatically optimized access point settings to eliminate interference and ensure seamless connectivity. The conference concluded with no network issues reported, successfully supporting both onsite and online participation. Allied Telesis provided a high-performing and easily managed solution that enabled the event's new hybrid format.
