Grupo Hefame, a Spanish pharmaceutical distribution cooperative and producer of cosmetics and skincare products, needed to modernize its datacenter network to support new servers, higher application demand, and dependable delivery operations. With Allied Telesis, the company set out to raise core bandwidth from 10Gbps to 40Gbps while improving convergence, redundancy, and overall network performance.

Allied Telesis upgraded Hefame’s core to four SwitchBlade x908 GEN2 switches using VCStack long-distance stacking and link aggregation, while reusing older Allied Telesis switches as distribution devices. The result was a simpler, fully redundant, future-ready network with higher throughput, lower latency, improved management through AMF, and support for 100Gbps expansion, helping Hefame run production and delivery smoothly and on schedule.
