Ecoplus Digital GmbH, the business agency for Lower Austria, faced the challenge of building a foundational network for its innovative "House of Digitalization." This multifaceted facility required an unconventional, high-performance, and future-proof network infrastructure to support a wide array of functions, from a massive video wall and science lab to building management systems and university lecture halls. They needed a solution that guaranteed reliability, simplified management, high Power over Ethernet, and enhanced security, all within a short implementation timeframe. Allied Telesis was selected to provide this comprehensive networking solution.

Allied Telesis implemented a flexible network design featuring its x950, x530, and x220 series switches at the core, distribution, and access layers. The solution utilized the Autonomous Management Framework Plus (AMF Plus) for automated, zero-touch management. The network was built with three physically separate, redundant networks for different building functions, significantly increasing fault tolerance. The entire installation was completed in just one month. The result is a scalable and resilient network primed to accommodate new technologies and applications, ensuring the House of Digitalization is ready for the future.
