A Allied Telesis Case Study
Japan Association for Medical Informatics (JAMI) needed a reliable network for its 40th Joint Conference on Medical Informatics in Hamamatsu, where 11 event halls had to support onsite attendees and, for the first time, live streaming for remote guests. Allied Telesis was brought in to deliver the conference’s wireless and wired infrastructure for this complex hybrid event.
Allied Telesis implemented a network with x530L core switches in a VCStack virtual chassis, AR4050S UTM firewalls, edge switches, and 46 TQ5403 wireless access points managed by Autonomous Wave Control and Vista Manager EX. The system provided stable venue-wide Wi-Fi, high-speed internet for streaming, and simple centralized monitoring, and the conference ended successfully with no network issues reported.
