Central Register - Customer Case Study

Allied Telesis worked with the Central Register of the Republic of Macedonia, the country’s central database for business-related legal information, to upgrade its core and access network. The government agency needed faster links and a more modern infrastructure to support a one-stop customer service system, while maintaining redundancy between its primary site and disaster recovery location.

Allied Telesis delivered a solution built around 10G infrastructure, Microsoft cloud integration, and its Autonomous Management Framework (AMF), along with switches from the x510 and SwitchBlade x8100 series and VCStack technology. This replaced the previous dual-core setup, improved network management and monitoring through an open source firmware platform and NMS, and helped the Central Register win a solution that met its performance and price requirements.
