Caritas-Klinik Dominikus, a hospital in Berlin, faced the challenge of establishing a stable, always-on Wi-Fi network for patients and staff that could integrate with its wired infrastructure and support critical healthcare applications. The hospital partnered with vendor Allied Telesis and its partner TELBA GmbH to implement a new solution that required automated management and seamless deployment during ongoing operations.

Allied Telesis implemented an integrated wired and wireless solution featuring its Autonomous Management Framework (AMF) and Autonomous Wave Control (AWC) technologies, managed via the Vista Manager EX platform. The results included a high-performing, nonstop network that provides seamless roaming for staff and reliable access for patients, while significantly reducing IT administration time and future-proofing the hospital for further digitalization.
