Bell Works Chicagoland reborn across 1.65 million square feet with Allied Telesis

Bell Works Chicagoland, a massive redeveloped "metroburb" facility in Chicago, required a robust enterprise network to support thousands of users across its mixed-use environment. Their challenge was to provide secure, high-performance wired and wireless connectivity for tenants, building management, and hospitality services throughout the 1.65 million square foot space, including the need for built-in VLANs. Allied Telesis was selected as the vendor to provide the networking solution.

Allied Telesis implemented a comprehensive network using their enterprise switches, router/firewalls, and wireless access points. The solution featured advanced management with Vista Manager EX and the Autonomous Management Framework for ease of maintenance and included reliability features like Continuous Power over Ethernet. The result is a highly reliable, converged network that supports all building operations and serves as a key selling point for prospective tenants, who can move in and immediately access high-performance connectivity without needing their own infrastructure.
