Case Study: Bell Works Chicagoland achieves future-ready network connectivity with Allied Telesis

A Allied Telesis Case Study

Preview of the Bell Works Chicagoland Case Study

Bell Works Chicagoland Comes Alive Through a Complete Redevelopment Effort

Bell Works Chicagoland, the redevelopment of the former Ameritech Center in Hoffman Estates, needed enterprise networking across a 1.65 million square foot mixed-use facility. As a growing “metroburb” with offices, retail, hospitality, entertainment, and building operations all under one roof, it required secure VLAN-based tenant networks and wireless coverage for thousands of users. Allied Telesis was selected to provide the network foundation for the project.

Allied Telesis implemented a robust enterprise network using switches, router/firewalls, wireless access points, and management tools such as Vista Manager EX, AMF, and Net.Monitor. The solution reused existing infrastructure where possible and added new fiber links to extend connectivity throughout the building, while supporting security systems, HVAC, tenant internet access, and even building-wide music distribution. The result was a reliable, easy-to-manage network that reduces onsite maintenance, supports all building services on a single converged network, and serves as a selling point for prospective tenants who can move in and connect immediately.
