Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. needed a secure, reliable, and easy-to-manage network for the Press Center at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show, where hundreds of journalists relied on fast Wi-Fi for laptops, tablets, smartphones, and media uploads. They worked with Allied Telesis to support the high-traffic event with automated networking, wireless optimization, and centralized administration.

Allied Telesis implemented AMF Cloud, TQ5403 wireless access points, AMF-Sec, and Vista Manager EX to automate management, optimize Wi-Fi performance, and isolate security threats. The solution delivered nonstop connectivity, reduced labor hours, saved rack space by eliminating the need for a separate server, and successfully handled greater traffic than ever before, with malware threats detected and blocked during the show.
