Pacific Life, a major life insurance and investment firm, faced a time-efficiency challenge: regional sales managers couldn’t do enough in-person ride-alongs to coach wholesalers across large territories. To scale coaching and share best practices, Pacific Life adopted Allego’s mobile-first sales learning and video coaching platform (a customer since January 2013) to capture field interactions, distribute short training videos, and enable peer-to-peer feedback.
Allego was piloted with a beta group and then rolled out enterprise-wide to create searchable best-practice libraries, run conference video contests, and power the Wholesaler Academy. The platform shaved coaching time, increased collaboration and consistency of pitch, and produced measurable outcomes — for example, one rep moved from 21 of 40 to 4 of 40 and qualified for Leader of the Pac (top 10%). Allego’s ease of use and analytics helped Pacific Life scale coaching while improving sales performance.
