CAPTRUST, a fast-growing North Carolina–based financial advisory firm that became one of the largest RIAs after a series of mergers, faced fragmentation of sales and learning content across multiple repositories, time‑consuming in‑person training, and no scalable way to deliver continuing education. To tackle these challenges, Marketing Senior Associate Todd Echstenkamp led adoption of Allego’s Sales Learning and Enablement platform (went live in November 2020).
Using Allego, CAPTRUST centralized all content into one searchable repository, shifted many sessions to pre‑recorded videos with live Q&A, launched a virtual "CAPTRUST University" for self‑paced learning, and captured short advisor best‑practice and CIO market‑update videos. The changes simplified onboarding, reduced training time and costs, produced highly viewed timely content, drove strong user adoption (including top usage by a senior advisor), and generated broadly positive feedback—showing Allego materially improved knowledge sharing and training efficiency.
