AssetMark Sustains Collaboration In a Virtual World Using Allego

AssetMark, a 750+ employee financial services firm, faced the sudden need to move its collaborative, peer-driven culture into a fully remote environment when the pandemic hit. Having adopted Allego’s Sales Learning and Enablement platform four months earlier, AssetMark turned to Allego alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams to replace in-office learning, coaching and informal knowledge sharing.

Using Allego, AssetMark created a centralized knowledge and information hub, launched a gamified “daily challenge” with AI flashcards, and gave each employee a private Allego channel that serves as a virtual portfolio. Allego also supports a two-week remote onboarding blend of self-study, quizzes, recorded Zoom sessions and virtual shadowing. These measures maintained employee engagement (with quarterly rewards for top flashcard completers), improved manager visibility into progress, and preserved AssetMark’s collaborative culture—results the company credits to Allego’s platform.
