Superior Integrated Systems launches Polaris Data Network with AllCloud to deliver near real-time test data

Superior Integrated Systems (SIS), a company that builds custom automated test systems, needed to develop a data-as-a-service platform. The goal was to provide customers with remote, near real-time access to test results and controls, a capability necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. They partnered with AllCloud and used AWS to build a proof of concept called the Polaris Data Network.

AllCloud architected and implemented the platform using AWS services like Control Tower, CDK, IoT Core, and ECS Fargate. This included building data visualizations, setting up IoT device integrations, and creating a customer web portal. The successful proof concept allowed SIS to onboard its first customer and begin marketing the new capability, laying the groundwork for significant revenue growth. AllCloud's work established the core toolkit for the product, leading to an expanded partnership with SIS for future development.
