AUTO1 Group migrates to AWS with AllCloud across 30 countries with no downtime

AUTO1 GROUP, Europe's leading used-car marketplace, faced the challenge of migrating its IT infrastructure from Linode to AWS. The gradual migration required ensuring data consistency and having a working rollback plan at all times, with key goals being to review VPC setups and inter-region connectivity and to migrate main MySQL databases with minimal downtime. They engaged vendor AllCloud for this project.

AllCloud created a proof-of-concept lab environment to test the MySQL migration method, which allowed them to identify potential pitfalls and select alternative routes in the plan. With AllCloud's expertise, AUTO1 GROUP successfully completed its migration on time and achieved its goal of doing so with no downtime for the business.
