Unilever, working with Alkemics and the ShopAdvizor solution, wanted a faster way to manage customer feedback and product data at FMCG scale. The challenge was to share and update large product catalogues efficiently while taking advantage of consumer ratings and comments across e-commerce channels.
Alkemics solved this through the Alkemics App store, enabling ShopAdvizor to access Unilever’s catalogues with a single click and automatically keep product information up to date. As a result, product listing time was cut from about 15 days to 1.5 days for 1,200 references, while a 2-month test generated nearly 260,000 ratings, 135,000 comments, and 117 recipes and usage tips, helping Unilever improve products and customer relationships.
