San Mateo Credit Union - Customer Case Study

San Mateo Credit Union faced a fragmented digital experience—two separate mobile and online systems that delivered inconsistent functionality, poor reporting, and declining member satisfaction. Seeking a single, modern platform, the credit union completed a core system overhaul and selected Alkami Technology’s Alkami Platform to provide an integrated, secure, and customizable digital banking solution.

Alkami Technology implemented the Alkami Platform with remote launch support, member communications, SDKs, security features, account opening, mobile deposit, bill pay, account aggregation and data-management tools. The results were measurable: average app rating rose from 3.5 to 4.5 (≈28.5%); NPS doubled to 67; converted users increased from 52,036 to 57,079 (+10%); combined logins/snapshot views hit 965,731 (+46% YoY) with 81% mobile usage; active digital users reached 38,275 and engagement was 67%, demonstrating stronger member satisfaction and digital adoption.
