Sun Federal Credit Union (Maumee, Ohio), a $657M institution serving 38,000+ digital users, needed to modernize its digital banking experience to attract younger members and compete with consumer mobile apps. To achieve parity between desktop and mobile and enable smarter, targeted marketing, Sun Federal partnered with Alkami Technology and adopted the Alkami Platform.

Alkami Technology implemented the Alkami Platform with onsite support during conversion, API integrations and custom widgets, and features like Message Center, push notifications and remote deposit capture to enable targeted marketing and seamless self-service. Within two years Sun Federal saw deeper member engagement, increased deposits and conversions, a higher loan- and deposit-per-member average than the FCU average, and a larger share of younger members while growing to roughly $650M in assets and ~38,000 members.
