Fairmont Federal Credit Union, a $250M institution with 37,000 members in Fairmont, WV, needed to modernize an antiquated online banking solution and execute multiple technology conversions to better compete with megabanks. After a vendor review, Fairmont chose to continue and deepen its relationship with Alkami Technology, moving to a new instance of Alkami’s digital banking platform in 2017 to gain greater functionality and control.

Alkami Technology implemented its digital banking platform and partnered closely with Fairmont—providing expert guidance, hands-on support during technical issues, and best-practice recommendations—so the credit union could deliver a modern member experience. That migration and ongoing collaboration strengthened member relationships, positioned Fairmont to compete with larger institutions, and gave leadership the tools and confidence to grow and modernize their operations.
