Giltner Inc., a 250‑unit truckload carrier hauling refrigerated produce into 18 markets, needed to grow its brokerage business in 2010 but was held back by a cumbersome legacy system. While evaluating options, Giltner selected Aljex Software for its web‑based, easy‑to‑implement brokerage platform and ability to support agent‑based operations.
Giltner implemented Aljex Software as it recruited agents and expanded from a single brokerage office in 2010 to about 35 offices with more than 125 users in the system. Today Giltner does roughly $100 million a year in brokerage—about twice its fleet revenue—crediting Aljex Software with fast agent onboarding and the scalability that drove this measurable growth.
