AlixPartners worked with a UK-based financial services firm that had been carved out of a larger bank and acquired by two private equity firms. The new owners needed to turn the business into a stand-alone company and build a modern digital payments-processing platform, but the organization lacked a mature IT function and the right leadership to drive the business-side transformation.
