European Telecommunications Operator, a large telecom provider with tens of millions of subscribers, was facing stagnating revenues and an EBITDA shortfall of nearly €80 million as the market contracted. The resulting action plan set nearly €180 million in cost-reduction targets and additional long-term EBITDA-improvement goals; one year later, the company had already improved EBITDA by around 4%.
