SurePods engaged Align to separate its office and factory IT from parent company Old Castle after a venture agreement imposed financial penalties if the separation failed. The challenge was to plan and migrate all users, hardware and services to a new SurePods domain—hosted on an Azure subscription—with Align providing Engineering and Project Management services to meet an aggressive eight‑week deadline.

Align developed the project plan and infrastructure design, procured and deployed network stacks, laptops, phones, Azure capacity and licenses, migrated Exchange email and user profiles, implemented endpoint desktop services and security monitoring, and provided on‑site support. Align completed the separation on time (8 weeks) and under budget, avoided contract penalties, and delivered state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure that increased user productivity.
