Large Global Hedge Fund hired Align to support infrastructure design and IT construction as it moved into a new 400,000 sq ft office at Hudson Yards. Align was tasked with designing a server room, multiple IDFs and more than 60 AV rooms within a collaborative, innovation-focused workspace while addressing architectural constraints such as creating flexible pathways, accommodating high ceilings, and working around limited raised-floor access.

Align led frequent page-turning design and construction documentation meetings and ensured timely responses to RFIs, coordinating across the project team from design through implementation. The result: Align delivered independent infrastructure and critical systems on every floor, enabling any floor to be removed or sublet without impacting adjacent floors—providing the fund measurable operational flexibility and floor-level isolation.
